Before/After care & Touch up
Healing process and after care, here are some advices :
BEFORE THE TATTOO:
Of course, part of your body will be exposed and you are therefore asked to arrive clean.
it will be preferable and recommended to arrive rested, not to have an empty stomach and not to have consumed alcohol on D-Day or the day before. Indeed, alcohol thinning the blood could cause bleeding that can disrupt and make it difficult to achieve your tattoo. Taking certain antibiotics can also cause problems for the execution and healing of the said tattoo and should therefore also be avoided as far as possible.
Please report any known case of allergy before the appointment (latex, nitrile, vinyl, etc.) in order to adapt the material to be used (especially for gloves).
Namely in sunny weather, or if we have an appointment when you return from holidays:
make sure you have protected the area to be tattooed by systematically covering with sunscreen index 50 when exposed to the sun. I will not tattoo you on sunburned skin, too tanned or that is peeling as this will interfere with proper healing.
AFTER THE TATTOO:
The session is over, you’re delighted, but it’s not over!
The care you give to your tattoos during the healing period is decisive. We will therefore take a moment together at the end of the session so that I explain to you in detail the healing process and a care sheet will also be given to you so that you do not forget anything once at home.
Also, certain things are to be banned during the month following the act of tattooing.
The sun being the first, you will not be able to put on sunscreen during healing and being the enemy of your tattoo, exposure to UVs, whether outdoors or tanbeds, is to be avoided.
Bath, swimming pool, sea as well as sauna or hammam are also to be forgotten during this month.
Since excessive sweating can be bad for your tattoo during the healing period, you may be advised to avoid sports for 7-10 days depending on your activity and what part of your body you have had tattooed.
during healing, favor loose clothing and natural fabrics, and use neutral PH soap for showering.

TOUCH UPS*:
last but not least, once the healing is complete, you will need to send me photos of your tattoo. Using good lighting and close enough to see detail so I can determine if touch-ups are needed or not. Touch-ups are free within 4 months of the tattoo being made. After this time they may be billed to you, so don’t delay!
*(additions, modifications or changes in intensity desired afterwards on your tattoo are not touch-ups and will therefore not be considered free of charge)
